What’s so great about living in Fort Wayne? More than you might expect.
BestLife Magazine chose the top 100 places to raise a family, and Fort Wayne, Indiana ranked near the top at number eighteen. Some of the awesome things about living in Fort Wayne are the comparatively low cost of living, the variety of schools available, the ease of traveling around the city, the wonderful public library system, and, of course, Concordia Theological Seminary’s community and families.
During this time of year, the seminary campus is green and lush. The oaks, maples, and sugar gum trees are leafed out. Trails wind through the woods, and the wide open grassy fields invite a stroll along the banks of the seminary pond. There is more than only natural beauty, however, at CTS. The campus, physically centered around Kramer Chapel finds its spiritual center around worship and prayer.
Although the seminary is the center of life for seminary families, Fort Wayne has other things to offer. Fort Wayne’s local theater, interesting restaurants, minor league baseball, parks system, and excellent public libraries make this a great place to live and raise a family. Chicago and Ann Arbor are less than three hours away from Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis is only two-hours away.
Nowhere in America can you find a cheap gallon of gas these days. But in Fort Wayne other things like housing, food costs, and clothing are less expensive than many other places.

Saddly it can no longer offer a day care at the Seminary
Now if it didn’t have winter it would be perfect.
