Most profound is "Don't like your spouse? . . . Get a new one." This captures the perspective of the disposable age which seeks only instant and continuous gratification. When something no longer pleases us, we cast it aside and "get a new one."

Now, I really don't care if you have automotive loyalty, but clearly the commercial is condemning a lack of commitment in relationships. The trouble is, there will be trouble in our relationships. Our job will not always please us. Our car will not always please us. Our spouse may not always please us.
